New Wells for Two Communities

The socio-political situation has become more tense than ever in recent weeks, and violent protest movements forced us to be cautious in our actions on the ground. But as soon as the situation became more favorable, our teams went into the field to finalize 2 new community wells near the city of Les Cayes.

In Bourdet and Pèlerin it was with joy, enthusiasm, and gratitude that the inhabitants received us when we went to remind them that these newly drilled wells were donations in the name of Jesus, financed by generous donors who, even though they were far away, thought of them. Even though the wells had only been operational for a few hours, everyone was there with buckets and cans to finally collect the vital water.
