HAPPY NEW YEAR 2020

Dearest prayer partners and supporters, the staff of Water for Life joins its voice with hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries in Haiti to say “HAPPY NEW YEAR 2020”.  We are very grateful for you and all your support that makes all of us part of the working out of the love of Jesus Christ. 1 John 3:16 says– “By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren”.

In a spirit of appreciation and thanksgiving, we are pleased to give you an account of what your prayers, your financial contributions, and your time have accomplished for the needy people in Haiti during the fiscal year 2018-2019 despite all the political unrest, violent street demonstrations, and roadblocks…

WELLS DRILLED: 108 wells serving 37,800 more people this year;

PUMPS: 749 pumps installed and maintained serving 262,150 people; more than 680 thousand people get their daily water supply from Water for Life.

DIVINE HELP SCHOOL: 490 students from Pre-K through 12th grade have had access to quality Christian education and received a hot meal every school day;

HEALTH CARE: From 8,335 consultations  5,758 people were treated, including 16 who got their sight back from cataract surgery and 9 women saved from cervical cancer after having pelvic surgery.

Praise to our Father through the work of His Spirit who makes us ONE in our Lord Jesus Christ and brings us together to fulfill His Word in Psalms 133 and Jesus’ prayer for all the believers in John 17.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!  Psalms 133:1 (NKJV)

John 17:20-23,  I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” (NKJV)
